CoCounseling International is a worldwide cooperative self-help community of peers in which participants take turns holding compassionate space for each other to explore and express themselves.
We're offering a fresh, body-centered synthesis of this tried and proven method, amplified with resources from current neuroscience and ancient wisdom traditions.
This workshop will be co-led by Rosie Berryessa and Fred Cook.
Rosie is a certified teacher of CCI CoCounseling, founding member of the Women’s Chi Gung Alliance, member of The Way of Joy Qigong community, singer/dancer, retired public educator/union steward, strong background in multi-cultural/anti-racist education, grounding in Shiatsu/Reiki/Breema with a gentle, powerful sense of humor.
Fred is a teacher trainee in CCI CoCounseling with 40+ years experience in RC CoCounseling – including co-teaching RC, leading Men’s and Anti-Racist support groups; training in Mindell Process Work, experience in Somatic Experiencing, Taoist Yoga, Neo-Reichian therapy, BREEMA, Esalen & reflexology massage, and an avid student of applied neuroscience.
Join us for an intensive intro to the fundamentals of CCI CoCounseling from August 4 through 7 at PLACE in Emeryville. The workshop will include 20 hours of learning and practice over Friday evening (7-10pm), (9a-10p) Saturday, (9a-5p)Sunday, and (7-10p) on Monday evening. Meals or breaks are planned about every 90 minutes.
We will introduce and give you opportunities to practice the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to join the worldwide CCI community.
Access to carefully curated, including some original, Web resources is included in the deal.
